I am a busy clinician who loves interacting with patients. I spend the majority of my time seeing patients in clinic and performing a variety of eye surgeries, including cataract surgery, anterior segment surgery, and corneal transplantation. I also spend time taking care of patients with dry eyes and performing new procedures for patients with dry eyes. I genuinely love what I do and am fortunate to treat patients of all ages and severity - whether it is removing their cataracts, performing eyelid surgery, or working in a multidisciplinary approach to treat their complex corneal disease. Outside of work, I like to spend as much time as possible with my family. I also enjoy cooking, playing sports and watching sports. 

Quentin Franklin, M.D. served in the U.S. Navy and with the Marine Corps as both a carrier pilot and physician. He graduated from the Uniformed Services University in Bethesda. MD where he was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. A board certified ophthalmologist for nearly twenty years. Dr. Franklin specialized in cataract surgery and is an associate professor at EVMS. He resides with his lovely bride of thirty years in Virginia Beach with their twin sheep-a-doodles and has three grown children. 

Dr. Ira Lederman is a board certified ophthalmologist and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons with over 40 years experience. Dr. Lederman graduated from the State University of New York College of Medicine at New York City (SUNY Downstate), completed his residency at the Medical College of Virginia and served a tour as an opthalmologist in the Army. He is affiliated with Bon Secours DePaul Hospital and Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. He has had articles published in peer review journals and is Professor of Clinical Ophthalmology at the Eastern Virginia Medical School. He is a past president of the medical staff at DePaul Hospital and the Virginia Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons. Dr. Lederman diagnoses, treats and manages diseases of the eye.
